Gulab jamun is a milk-solid-based South Asian sweet, particularly popular in India. Soft, spongy and melt in mouth gulab jamuns drenched in syrup is a traditional homemade sweet. It is often garnished with dried nuts like almonds to enhance flavour.

Ingredients(1 cup = 250 ml)
- khoya – 250 gm
- Sugar – ½ Kg
- Wheat Flour – 65 gm or 1 cup
- Cardamom Powder – ½ tsp
- Chironji – 1 tsp
- Chopped Cashews – 1 tsp
- Edible Soda – 1 pinch
- Edible Yellow Colour – Less than 1 pinch
- Ghee – For Frying
